Russellville AR luxury family photographer for refined portraits

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by!

I’m Jill Baumann, BSN, RN

PHOTOGRAPHER. NURSE. DOG & CHICKEN TENDER. PLANT HOARDER.

I specialize in capturing beautiful, artistic portraits of expectant mothers, births, newborns, children, families, weddings, and pets.

Photography has been my passion since 2010 at age 14 – wow, time flies – and I’ve spent 5 years as a registered nurse, including time working in the adult ICU and cardiovascular ICU. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I made the leap into travel nursing, working crazy 72-hour weeks for six months. But eventually, I returned to my true passion: photography. I’ve never been happier and enjoy doing what I love!

I recently moved to Dardanelle, Arkansas to pursue our dream of owning a homestead.

When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me hiking and exploring Arkansas, painting, gardening, tending to my animals, or watching The Office like it’s nobody’s business.

Life is SO busy, but that’s exactly what makes slowing down to capture it all SO important.

THE 4-LEGGED COWORKERS

Balloo

3-year-old Merle French Bulldog. He was the last of his litter and unknowingly had Parvo when I adopted him in May 2022… a $4k emergency vet bill later – he’s the most expensive & cutest survival story ever. I appreciate every single moment he’s around.

Skills/Likes:
Sit, stay, speak, high five, shake, fetch, eating (pro level), car rides, camping, swimming in shallow water, pup cups from *~Starbies~*

Dislikes:
Bi-weekly nail trims, thunder, fireworks, bath time 🙁

Lucy (aka LULU)

2-year-old merle French Bulldog. I adopted her in March 2024. After a rough start, she’s growing stronger every day, and I couldn’t be prouder of how far she’s come. She’s the sweetest girl, always sticking close to her mom through anything.

Skills/Likes:
Sit, stay, speak, fetch, cuddling, eating and guarding her food bowl, bath time, being with mom (even if that means almost drowning in the river)

Dislikes:
Loud noises, thunder, bi-weekly nail trims

YARD BIRDS

LUCY & EILEEN:

The Welbar ladies! Est. March 2023. These ladies have been the most loyal butt nugget producers. They’re also available for photoshoots – they love the camera.

RUDY & THE SILKIES:

OH MY GOODNESS. The first time I laid eyes on a silkie chicken, I was in LOVE. I’ve been their chicken tender since March 2025. These lil cuties love cuddles! They should start laying soon – I HOPE!
